notebooklm-py: Unofficial Python API and Agent skills for Gemini Notebook

notebooklm-py covers all eleven of NotebookLM's public namespaces, including notebook management, source import (URLs, YouTube, PDF, Google Drive, etc.), conversation history, notes, tags, and retrieval agents. For content generation it supports audio overviews (4 formats, 50+ languages), video overviews (4 formats, 8 visual styles), slides, infographics, quizzes, flashcards, reports, data tables, and mind maps, with batch downloads of artifacts as JSON, Markdown, CSV, MP3, and more. The newly added optional Android backend works via the mobile gRPC service and short-lived bearer tokens, no longer relying on browser cookie sessions or Web RPC IDs. For developers using Claude Code, Codex, or OpenClaw, the library offers a low-cost orchestration pattern: let NotebookLM do the expensive document analysis and synthesis server-side while the agent handles only orchestration and wrap-up, avoiding heavy token consumption on long-document tasks. The repo also includes a root-level NotebookLM skill and AGENTS.md guidance, and supports connecting to Claude Desktop via an MCP server, Claude Code, or acting as a self-hosted remote connector for claude.ai and the ChatGPT mobile app. Note that the library uses undocumented Google APIs, and Google may change internal endpoints at any time, so it is suitable only for prototypes, research, and personal projects, with heavy use risking rate limiting. Users of the Android backend should use a dedicated account and protect the stored master token carefully.
