Tashan Tech raises hundreds of millions in Series B, orders in H1 quadruple last year's total
Decision Brief
Tashan Technology recently closed a Series B round of several hundred million yuan from investors including Joyson Electronics, Taiping Innovation, AUX, Pengling Shares, and existing shareholders. Funds will be used for iterative development of tactile sensors and chips, scenario-based solution deployment, and building a tactile training platform. The company has developed the world's first digital-analog hybrid AI touch chip, and its next-generation large chip has been successfully taped out, expected to launch in Q3 2025. Sensor measurement frequency has increased by 3-4 times compared to last year, with the TS-F fingertip sensor achieving force resolution of 0.01N and recognizing over 30 materials. In 2025, tactile sensor penetration in dexterous hands rose from ~20% to over 60%, and Tashan accounts for more than 80% of tactile sensor shipments for humanoid robots, partnering with over 180 robot industry chain clients. For robot OEMs and dexterous hand manufacturers, Tashan's full-stack in-house solution lowers the barrier to tactile integration; its visual-tactile fusion training platform and data collection center accelerate algorithm iteration. By 2026, robot business revenue is expected to surpass automotive revenue by 3-4 times, accounting for two-thirds of the company's total revenue.
