Sinon ZhiJia recently raised ¥300 million in Series C funding from Industrial Securities Capital and Yidao Capital, earmarked for developing next-generation automotive-grade autonomous driving solutions. From January to June 2026, the autonomous heavy-truck sector saw 5 disclosed funding rounds totaling nearly ¥7 billion. Founded in April 2020, Sinon focuses on heavy-load logistics unmanned driving, offering products like unmanned tractors, dump trucks, and flatbed trucks, with proprietary one-stage world model and domain controllers. It provides both vehicle sales and transportation services, deployed in ports, steel mills, etc. CEO He Bei noted that for closed scenes, the focus expands from 'unmanned transportation' to 'unmanned operations,' possibly introducing embodied intelligence; for open scenes, automotive-grade domain controllers are needed. The company has launched automotive-grade solutions and secured overseas domain controller orders. For logistics firms using autonomous trucks, Sinon's automotive-grade upgrade improves reliability for long-haul routes, while closed-scene unmanned operations reduce manual labor in loading/unloading. Investors should note the sector's funding density but that profitability hinges on cost control and data accumulation.
