AWS releases solution for auto-generating PowerPoint from enterprise documents using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

The solution deploys a supervisor agent on the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore runtime, orchestrating two tools with the Strands Agents framework: generate_pptx calls a PPTX Generator Lambda to create presentations, and generate_summary extracts and synthesizes information from a knowledge base via retrieval-augmented generation. Content generation is handled by Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.6 on Amazon Bedrock, vector retrieval uses Amazon Titan Text Embeddings v2 and Amazon OpenSearch Serverless, and slide images are generated with Stability AI Stable Image Inpaint. The full infrastructure is deployed via AWS CDK, including a .NET 8 REST API, Lambda container functions, VPC isolation, KMS encryption, and least-privilege IAM controls. For finance teams that regularly turn quarterly reports, compliance documents, and market analyses into client presentations, this solution in a public code repository can be deployed directly, eliminating the need to build agent orchestration and retrieval pipelines from scratch. Developers using Amazon Bedrock can also add new capabilities as independent tools plugged into the supervisor agent without modifying existing tools. Note that the solution explicitly states the Amazon OpenSearch Serverless collection's data plane must remain publicly accessible, because Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases access it from AWS-managed infrastructure rather than through a customer VPC endpoint; IAM data access policies and VPC-only dashboard access can provide protection.
