awesome-claude-skills: A curated collection of Claude Skills resources and tools

This repository collects Claude Skills resources and tools. Skills use progressive disclosure: metadata loads ~100 tokens, full instructions load up to 5k tokens, and bundled resources load on demand. Official skills cover document handling (docx, pdf, pptx, xlsx) plus development skills like frontend design, MCP building, and browser automation. Integration options include enabling the Skills toggle in Claude.ai settings, installing via the plugin marketplace in Claude Code, and using the /v1/skills endpoint in the Claude API. The repo also compares Skills against prompts, projects, subagents, and MCP, and warns that Skills can execute arbitrary code in the Claude environment, so only install from trusted sources. For Claude API developers, Skills reuse the same format across Claude.ai, Claude Code, and the API, cost only 30-50 tokens when unloaded, and suit turning repetitive workflows into version-managed skills. Teams deploying Claude in a team or enterprise environment must have admins enable Skills org-wide first and review SKILL.md and scripts before production.
