Archify v3.1.0: Turn a repo or an idea into an interactive architecture diagram in one sentence
Decision Brief
Archify's current stable version is v3.1.0, installed via npx skills add tt-a1i/archify -g and callable in Cursor, Claude Code, Codex CLI, and OpenCode. It can generate a diagram from a single description without any repository, or have the agent read a real repo and produce a diagram with citation links backed by source evidence. It supports ten diagram types: architecture, workflow, sequence, data flow, lifecycle, ERD, class, tree, timeline, and waterfall. Results can be iterated on in the conversation, e.g., adding Redis, a mobile auth module, or highlighting a rollback path. Exports support dark/light theme switching, copying a PNG to the clipboard, and exporting traced paths as a 1200×630 share card. For developers using Claude Code, Codex CLI, and similar tools, architecture diagrams no longer require manual dragging in drawing software—just let the agent read the code and produce a clickable, source-traceable interactive diagram, useful for onboarding to new projects, PR reviews, and incident retrospectives. For teams that need diagrams in Feishu or DingTalk for discussion, the output is a self-contained HTML file that opens and interacts directly in a browser after download, with no need for the recipient to install Archify. It also includes an optional update check that by default only requests a fixed manifest file to show a reminder, without auto-downloading or installing updates; networking can be disabled with ARCHIFY_UPDATE_CHECK_DISABLED=1. The project has reached #1 on GitHub Trending's all-language weekly list.
